1929 Regenerative Receiver


The 1929 4-tube regenerative receiver

The front end of the 1929 regenerative receiver uses a screen-grid (UX222) RF coupling stage followed by the regenerative ocsillating detector circuit using an '01A and two stages of transformed coupled audio amplification with '01A's

Regeneration is crontrolled by a variable resistor. The tuning condenser C1 (100 uufd) is shunted with a bandspread condenser C2 (25 uufd). The Condensers are operating by the two National vernier dials on the front panel. The center dials control the filament rheostat and the regenerative control resistor. Several Silver Marshall plug-in coils provides coverage for multiple bands.
